  1. Hold your phone up to the lower portion of your reader to activate the reader
  2. Your reader should beep and turn yellowish orange
  1. After your reader activates please enter your 4 digit pin
  2. Make sure to press slowly and firmly. The light should blink with each button push
  1. Your light should turn green and allow you in your room
  2. If not please see below for troubleshooting steps and whom to contact

If you have had any recent changes to your account such as: 

  • just added the MobileDukeCard to your wallet
  • received a new phone
  • changed your PIN 
  • received a new room assignment

You may get denied at the door the first time. If you don't get in after a few attempts please press "#323232" to comm your lock to download the new data. Once completed you should be able to access your room as normal.

Contact HRL if:

  • Your reader never reacts when you hold up your phone (your batteries could be dead)
  • You are moving from one room to another and are still being denied (your access may not have been added yet)

  • Your reader if flashing green and red lights randomly (lock is failing)
  • You reader/lock appears to be damaged or the buttons are not working
