Students who are part of the Schools of Medicine and Nursing OR need access to Duke Health buildings, including those with labs, should follow instructions given to them by their departments to obtain a DukeCard for access those buildings.

Your First DukeCard on Mobile
First Year Students
Before you arrive on campus, complete the Back to School tasks to help you get up and running with your Mobile DukeCard. NOTE: You will not be able to add your Mobile DukeCard to your smart device until you submit your photo online. When your DukeCard photo has been approved, you can download the Mobile DukeCard to your device.
Returning Students and Graduate/Professional Students
Graduate and Professional Students first DukeCards are on your Apple or Android mobile device. If you need access to a specific lab or Health System building which requires a Prox DukeCard in addition to the Mobile DukeCard, you can schedule an appointment on the DukeCard appointment site.
Transact eAccounts for International Students
International students should wait until they arrive at Duke before downloading and installing eAccounts to ensure they have the US version of the app. More information is available here.
Using Wireless Locks
East Campus residents in East House, Giles, Pegram, Southgate and Trinity as well as West Campus residents in Craven Quad, Crowell Quad, Hollows A and Hollows B have wireless locks on their bedroom doors. You can find more information on using wireless locks and how to report a problem here.
