Duke University Health System uses a PTO (paid time off) and Time and Attendance program. These systems enable more efficient human resource management and provide employees with increased flexibility and convenience regarding time away from work.

For most employees, the DukeCard is the primary means of accessing the time and attendance system and all of its features. However, some employees may be eligible to use either the telephone or their computer to register their time and attendance information.
